CANON VIETNAM DONG ACCOMPANIES WITH TLIP SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY COMMITTEE - FOR A SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT OF THE COMMUNITY

Canon Vietnam is one of the first members of the Thang Long Industrial Park Social Responsibility Board (TLIP SRC), established in 2006 with the goal of contributing to the sustainable development of the community surrounding the industrial park through four main themes: education, environment, health & culture, through annual sponsorship activities including: awarding scholarships to poor students; giving Tet gifts to disadvantaged families; and donating medical equipment to health stations, sound systems to cultural centers, trash cans to villages, exercise equipment for community centers, and equipment for kindergartens in the communes.

On 1st, 4th and 7th Feb, 2026, Canon Vietnam, along with representatives from enterprises of TLIP SRC, presented meaningful gifts including 150 scholarships to underprivileged primary and secondary school students to encourage their learning spirit and help them overcome difficulties to achieve good results; and Tet gifts to 130 poor households with the desire to share and encourage them during the Tet holiday in the villages of Vinh Thanh and Thien Loc communes. This is one of handover programs by TLIP SRC in a series of activities contributing to the community surrounding the Thang Long Industrial Park in Thien Loc and Vinh Thanh communes in 2026. It is expected that in early March, the TLIP SRC will continue to donate rubbish bins to villages in the two communes to support local environmental sanitation works. The total donation amount for this time is about 600 Mil VND.

At the ceremony in Mai Chau village on 7th Feb, representative from the Thien Loc Commune People's Committee shared that the care and support from Canon Vietnam and other enterprises in TLIP SRC are extremely practical for the local people during the Lunar New Year season. They expressed hope that in the future, enterprises in TLIP SRC will continue to develop and provide more support to help the locality grow more and more.

Canon Vietnam is committed to continuing to work alongside and support the communes, bringing practical benefits to the locality in particular and the sustainable development of society in general, together with enterprises of TLIP SRC.
