HANDOVER CEREMONY OF “GREEN PARK IN THE CITY" PROJECT 2025

2nd October 2025, Canon Vietnam organized the handover ceremony of “Canon Friendship Green Park” at Thanh Xuan A primary school, Noi Bai commune, Hanoi.

This is one of the green park in project “Canon Friendship Green Park” hold by Canon Vietnam with the aim of joining hands with the urban areas creates more green parks in order to increase the rate of green trees, minimize air pollution, protect the environment, and at the same time raise people's awareness of environmental protection issues; contribute to complete the sustainable development goals of Vietnam.

In 2025, the project has built small green parks at Thanh Xuan A primary schools, Noi Bai Commune, Hanoi with total value about 350 million VND. These small green parks not only contribute to increasing the percentage of trees in schools to help reduce air pollution, but also create green spaces for students and teachers to perform other useful activities, outdoor library, organize learning activities about plants...

Also in the ceremony, more than 30 beautiful paintings selected from more than 500 paintings of the drawing contest "Children's Green Park" were displayed.

Besides, the pupils of Thanh Xuan A primary school also participated in the propaganda program on environmental protection organized by Canon Vietnam. Environmental education and propaganda activities have provided students with basic knowledge about the habitat of animals and plants, and the current state of environmental pollution in Vietnam as well as around the world. The lesson content is combined with vivid illustrations and videos, games such as "Garbage Classification" - practicing sorting recyclable waste, organic waste, inorganic waste; "Habitat" game - finding suitable habitats for animals helping students visualize the current state of the environment more clearly and absorb knowledge more easily. Through this, students can better understand and perceive the importance of environmental protection, while helping them see their role in protecting the environment through small daily actions.

Moreover, Canon Vietnam also present Ehon books and bookshelves for schools to help pupils develop imagination, vocabulary, nurture personality and enrich the child's soul.

With the success of the project, in the coming time Canon Vietnam will continue to implement the project not only in schools but also in other areas in the city to bring more green space to the capital.

Canon Vietnam hopes that through this Project, students, members of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union as well as young people and Vietnamese people in general will raise awareness of environmental protection, care for and protect trees, contributing to the conservation and sustainable protection of the environment towards realizing Vietnam's Sustainable Development Goals
