Canon Vietnam shares and supports
flood victims in the Northern mountainous provinces
On October 28-30, 2025, relief team of Canon Vietnam departed to provinces as Thai Nguyen, Lang Son, Bac Ninh, Cao Bang, Lao Cai, Tuyen Quang. During this trip, Canon handed over 1000 relief gifts, including cash and necessities: rice, cooking oil, fish sauce, soap... to disadvantaged and heavily affected household with total sponsor amount about 418 million dong.
This donation gift was contributed by Canon Vietnam, company TU and the donation cash from the employees of the company during donation week from 13th to 21st Oct. Although the relief gifts cannot completely compensate for the heavy losses that people in the flood-hit areas have to bear but it is the contribution and sincere sharing from the companies and the employees with the desire to support the local people to quickly stabilize their lives after the flood.
Canon Vietnam has coordinated with the Fatherland Front of 13 communes in 6 provinces including: Thien Tan & Huu Lien communes (Lang Son); Tam Tien & Dong Ky communes (Bac Ninh), Tan Khanh & Kha Son communes (Thai Nguyen); Ca Thanh & Khanh Xuan communes (Cao Bang); Mo Vang & Mau A communes (Lao Cai); Vi Xuyen, Thuan Hoa, Linh Ho communes (Tuyen Quang) to organize activities to give gifts and cash to 1,000 households.
Touched by the caring and sharing of Canon Vietnam, the households expressed their sincere thanks to the company. In particular, many people could not hold their tears when representatives of the company came to their homes to give money and donations as well as to share, talk and encourage them and their families.
Also in October and November of 2010, 2013, 2016, 2020, 2024 when people in the Northen & Central region faced consecutive storms causing severe damage, Canon mobilized billions of VND to support and donated thousands of affected households in the North & Central provinces.
In addition to flood relief, Canon also organized many other meaningful social responsibility activities such as: "Canon Friendship School Chain" project supporting the construction of classrooms for 56 schools nationwide; "Canon Friendship Green Park" project at schools in Hanoi and Bac Ninh; Ehon books donation project “Nurturing children’s soul” in Ha Noi & Bac Ninh…
In the future, Canon Vietnam commits to continue implementing its social responsibility projects to actively contribute to the sustainable development of Vietnam.
