Compliance with relevant laws, Canon Group Code of Conduct, and CVN’s internal regulations. Respect for international norms and standards. Accurate implementation and actions, commitment to due diligence (*) and continuous improvement.

(*) Due diligence: careful investigations of CVN’s daily operation from an auditor’s point of view, to ensure full compliance with relevant requirements and the proactive fulfilment of obligations.

1. Maintenance of the fairness, honesty, transparency and lawfulness of CVN's business activities.
All business operations comply with the highest standards of integrity and transparency. Any form of corruption, extortion and embezzlement is prohibited.
2. Publicizing information
Information is published and provided, transactions are carried out transparently and accurately with related parties.
3. Protection of intellectual property rights
Respecting and protecting intellectual property rights and protecting information of customers and suppliers.
4. Fair trade, advertising and competition
Adhering to fair trade, advertising and competition standards.
5. Protection of identity and prevention of retaliation
Ensuring the confidentiality and anonymity of whistleblowers, and ensuring the environment where whistleblowers do not fear retaliation.
6. Protection of privacy
Protecting the reasonable privacy of relevant persons and complying with laws and regulations concerning privacy and information security.
7. Being responsible with procuring minerals
Checking the source and supply chain of tantalum, tin, tungsten, gold and cobalt in products; compliance with related parties’ justifiable requirements.
8. Sharing compliance, ethics policy with customers and suppliers
Cooperating with customers and suppliers, and sharing CVN’s compliance, ethics policy with accuracy.
